- Twogether in Texas Program
As part of my commitment to supporting couples, you’ll receive a certificate approved by Twogether in Texas. Completing this course will waive the $60* state portion of the marriage license fee. This certificate contains a unique barcode that needs to be scanned by the county clerk. The certificate is good for one year and serves as proof that the couple is eligible for the discounted marriage license fee and can waive the 72-hour waiting period. The county clerk will also waive the 72-hour waiting period for couples who present this certificate of completion to get married.
*Some counties may add up to $22 additional fees to a marriage license. Those local fees will not be waived.
